EXIT wins special mention award at
One-Reeler LA Film Competition!

EXIT Named Finalist for Best Director — One-Reeler Short Film Competition

I’m excited to share that EXIT has been selected as a finalist for Best Director in the One-Reeler Short Film Competition in Los Angeles. This recognition means a lot—I genuinely didn’t expect my first film to receive this kind of honor.

Huge thanks to One-Reeler for supporting indie creators, and to everyone who resonated with EXIT. I’m grateful to be in this space and looking forward to continuing to create films that connect with people in meaningful ways.

EXIT – Official Release & Festival Submission Update
On July 8th, 2025 at 5 AM EST, I released EXIT on YouTube—and what’s followed has been beyond anything I imagined. Within 12 hours, the film had already surpassed 211 views, and by the 21-hour mark it hit 325, making it the top-performing video on my entire channel. The energy and response have been incredible!

Fueled by this momentum, I’ve submitted EXIT to six film festivals through FilmFreeway—three of which are based in London (UK).

I’m so grateful to everyone who’s watched, shared, and supported EXIT. This project holds deep symbolic and emotional resonance for me, and your enthusiasm means everything.
Let’s make movie history!

FilmFreeway Submission Dashboard – EXIT’s journey into the film festival circuit begins (July 2025) Includes official submissions to festivals in London and the U.S., with notification dates and judging statuses.

Submitted EXIT to the 2025 Manhattan Short Film Festival. Grateful to share this piece with a wider audience.

🎬 Festival Update: EXIT Submitted to MidWest WeirdFest!

I’ve officially submitted EXIT to MidWest WeirdFest! I am so excited. This whole endeavor has been about finding festivals that fit the vibe, and Weird Fest is no exception to the group of ‘Vibe Passing’ Festivals I've gleefully submitted too these past few days!
EXIT isn’t your average film. The story isn't linear, and it was never meant to be. It’s intuitive. Uncomfortable. Quietly loud in all the right places. Something that whispers "Hey, you. Over here. Come closer" and then respectfully rattles the cage and asks if you liked the song with a lilting voice that doesn’t ask permission to exist. MidWest felt like it would love that. And I think it will. So, gently submitted with reverence and care. Now we wait, and see what song the breeze sings to us.
